Frank Clifford Glenn

— Funeral service for Frank Clifford Glenn, age 98 of Alex, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at the Westside Church of Christ in Alex. Jim Coale will officiate.

Frank Clifford was born the son of James Alfred Glenn and Lillie Pearl Alexander Glenn on Feb. 12, 1913 in Austin, Texas. He died on Jan. 24, 2012 in Chickasha.

Frank moved to Apache, Oklahoma at the age of two and soon thereafter moved to the Laverty community, south of Verden. He married Opal Irene Lewis on Jan. 12, 1933, in Verden then moved to Alex, in 1936 where he lived and farmed the rest of his life. In his spare time, Frank loved to fish and play dominoes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lillie Glenn; wife, Opal; four brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include: Daughter: Alice Ketchum of Chickasha; Daughter: Patsy Beene of Ft. Cobb; Son: Dean Glenn of Alex; Son: Kenneth Glenn of Amarillo, Texas; 10 Grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren

Interment will be in the Laflin Creek Cemetery northeast of Alex. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
