Memorial services for Patricia Lynn King Rider, 59, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Rockford Johnson officiating.
Patricia “Tricia” Lynn Rider was born Aug. 17, 1952, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elbert King and Dorothy (Oldham) King. She died Aug. 12, 2012, in Chickasha.
Tricia married Daniel Burl Rider in 1983. They resided in Chickasha.
Tricia graduated from Ardmore High School in 1970. She received a Political Science degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1974. She earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in 1978. She practiced law in Chickasha from 1978 until 2004. She was the first female attorney to establish a law practice in Chickasha. She served as the municipal judge for the City of Chickasha for thirty years. She also served as the municipal judge for Ninnekah, Amber, Tuttle and Washington. She practiced law using her professional name, Tricia Dickson.
She was a member of the Oklahoma and Grady County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Municipal League, the Oklahoma Municipal Judge’s Association. She volunteered for the Women’s Services and Family Resource Center, actively participated in Altrusa Club events and loved to scrapbook.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert King and brother, Michael King.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Rider; children Eric Dickson and wife Beth Ellis Dickson, Blaine Rider and wife Kendra Rider, Ross Rider, Nicholas Rider and wife Holly Rider; mother Dorothy King; sister Beverly Rains and husband Stuart Rains, sister Linda McCormick and husband Ron McCormick; grandchildren Colin Dickson, Joshua Dickson and Gwendolyn Rider and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Altrusa Club of Chickasha, P. O. Box 732, Chickasha, OK 73023.
Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Theodore "Ted" A. Diaconoff
Ted Diaconoff, age 84 of Chickasha, was born the son of Andre Diaconoff and Evelyn Hotson Diaconoff on Oct. 7, 1928, in Akron, Ohio. He died on May 19, 2013 in Chickasha.
After receiving his masters degree, Ted continued his education and received his Phd at UCLA. He also attended the Juilliard School of Music in New York City where he studied piano and composition and was a faculty assistant. He later held teaching positions at universities in Michigan, Kentucky, then at USAO in Chickasha where he was a professor of music.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betty.
Survivors include his brothers, Phillip Diaconoff of Livermore, Calif. and Peter Diaconoff of Santa Fe, NM.
Arrangements for cremation are with the McRay Funeral Home. There will be no services. -
Patsy McDonald Rhymes
Patsy McDonald Rhymes, 62, of Chickasha, beloved wife of Danny Rhymes, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She will be greatly missed by a large and loving extended family and many friends. Patsy was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her time caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Danny, her son Starling and his wife Connie, and grandchildren Rochelle and Michael. Patsy was especially close to her niece Pam and also leaves behind her brothers Charles, Paige, and Roland along with her sisters Thelma and Jeana.
Graveside services were held in Hominy, on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by her longtime family minister, Rev. Leonard Lindsay. Arrangements are being handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. -
Nyoka “Jo” Hadley
Private graveside services were held for Noyka Hadley, 67, of Chickasha, on Wednesday May 15, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
Noyka was born on February 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She died May 11, 2013, in Chickasha.
Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Lois Morris
Funeral service for Lois Morris, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha. Lois was born June 13, 1923, the daughter of Elva L. and Eva Opal (Heavin) Keeton. She died May 13, 2013, in Muskogee.

Betty Jo James
Graveside services for Betty Jo James, 84.will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in Elk City and Wednesday and Thursday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs.
Betty was born in Cox City, on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1928 and passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Elk City.

Freida Perkins
Funeral services for Freida Perkins, 95, of Chickasha, will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Freida Perkins was born March 19, 1918, at Kalamazoo, Michigan. She passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Mrs. Perkins married Daniel Perkins on November 14, 1940. She and Daniel lived in New Mexico from 1940 to 1980, when they moved to the Amber area.
She had worked in the New Mexico public school system and after moving to Amber she worked at the Amber Café for seven years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Perkins in 1986 and a son, Danny Perkins in 2010.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by a sister, Esther Healey, of PawPaw, Michigan; four grandchildren: Penny Fuller, George Perkins, Wayne Perkins and T.J. Perkins; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; Daughter-in-law: Wynema Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Carla and Eddie.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. -
