Zolene H. Bitsche

Funeral service for Zolene H. Bitsche, 91, former Chickasha resident, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Zolene H. Bitsche was born January 31, 1921 in Verden and died April 24, 2012 in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Zolene was a graduate of Chickasha High School and attended Oklahoma College for Women. She and George W. Bitsche were married January 29, 1943 in Las Cruces, New Mexico during World War II. They lived in New Mexico and El Paso, Texas returning to Chickasha after the War. She worked for The Dixie Store until her retirement in 1989.
Zolene volunteered at schools and with the Girl Scouts. She directed Girl Scout Day Camp for several summers and volunteered many years at Grady Memorial Hospital. She moved to Pinehurst, NC in 2008 to be near family.
Zolene was a member of the First Christian Church and CWF in Chickasha. She was also a member of the Grady Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by: Husband: George W. Bitsche February 18, 1995, Parents, Sisters: Marie Horn and Claire Taylor and Brothers: Harold Hinkle, Eckel Hinkle and Elmer Hinkle
Survivors include: Daughter and son-in-law: Bonnie E. and William R. Berger of Seven Lake, NC; Grandson: Dr. Scott Berger and wife Dr. Valerie Berger of Winston Salem, NC; Granddaughter:cMegan Winslett and husband Dr. Wesley Winslett of Wilmington, NC and Great grandchildren Anna Carolyn, Robert Clarke and Lydia Berger, Bentley and George Winslett.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church or Grady Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Patsy McDonald Rhymes
Patsy McDonald Rhymes, 62, of Chickasha, beloved wife of Danny Rhymes, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She will be greatly missed by a large and loving extended family and many friends. Patsy was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her time caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Danny, her son Starling and his wife Connie, and grandchildren Rochelle and Michael. Patsy was especially close to her niece Pam and also leaves behind her brothers Charles, Paige, and Roland along with her sisters Thelma and Jeana.
Graveside services were held in Hominy, on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by her longtime family minister, Rev. Leonard Lindsay. Arrangements are being handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. -
Nyoka “Jo” Hadley
Private graveside services were held for Noyka Hadley, 67, of Chickasha, on Wednesday May 15, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
Noyka was born on February 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She died May 11, 2013, in Chickasha.
Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Lois Morris
Funeral service for Lois Morris, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha. Lois was born June 13, 1923, the daughter of Elva L. and Eva Opal (Heavin) Keeton. She died May 13, 2013, in Muskogee.

Graveside services for Betty Jo James, 84.will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in Elk City and Wednesday and Thursday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs.
Betty was born in Cox City, on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1928 and passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Elk City.

Freida Perkins
Funeral services for Freida Perkins, 95, of Chickasha, will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Freida Perkins was born March 19, 1918, at Kalamazoo, Michigan. She passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Mrs. Perkins married Daniel Perkins on November 14, 1940. She and Daniel lived in New Mexico from 1940 to 1980, when they moved to the Amber area.
She had worked in the New Mexico public school system and after moving to Amber she worked at the Amber Café for seven years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Perkins in 1986 and a son, Danny Perkins in 2010.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by a sister, Esther Healey, of PawPaw, Michigan; four grandchildren: Penny Fuller, George Perkins, Wayne Perkins and T.J. Perkins; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; Daughter-in-law: Wynema Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Carla and Eddie.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. -
