Frankie Ray Sherrill
Funeral service for Frankie Ray Sherrill, age 73 of Marlow, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012, in the Main Street Church of Christ in Alex, Oklahoma. Bart Lujan will officiate.
Frankie Ray was born the son of Benjamin Fanklin "Frank" Sherrill and Clara Belle Franklin Sherrill on August 26, 1938 in Cox City, Oklahoma. He died on August 6, 2012 in Chickasha.
He married LaVyn Tilley in 1960 and later married Agnes Maynard on January 16, 1967 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Frankie graduated from Cox City High School then joined the United States Navy. After being discharged, he moved back home and helped his father on the farm. Most of his life he farmed and worked as a driller in the oilfield. Frankie had lived in Grady County most of his life and had lived in Marlow for the past four and half years. He attended the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Clara Sherrill, wife, Agnes Sherrill, son, Jerry Sherrill, and nephew, Wayne Todd.
Survivors include: Son & Wife: Dwayne & Janice Cockrum of Chickasha, Daughter & Husband: Barbara & Don Mitchusson of Bradley, Daughter: Rhonda Bloodworth of Lubbock, Texas, Sister & Husband: Nadine & Hoy Cattlet of Oklahoma City, Sister & Husband: Betty & Cotton Todd of Cox City, Sister & Husband: Mary Ann & Sambo Archer of Bailey, Eight Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews.
Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

Patsy McDonald Rhymes
Patsy McDonald Rhymes, 62, of Chickasha, beloved wife of Danny Rhymes, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She will be greatly missed by a large and loving extended family and many friends. Patsy was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her time caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Danny, her son Starling and his wife Connie, and grandchildren Rochelle and Michael. Patsy was especially close to her niece Pam and also leaves behind her brothers Charles, Paige, and Roland along with her sisters Thelma and Jeana.
Graveside services were held in Hominy, on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by her longtime family minister, Rev. Leonard Lindsay. Arrangements are being handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. -
Nyoka “Jo” Hadley
Private graveside services were held for Noyka Hadley, 67, of Chickasha, on Wednesday May 15, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
Noyka was born on February 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She died May 11, 2013, in Chickasha.
Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Lois Morris, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha. Lois was born June 13, 1923, the daughter of Elva L. and Eva Opal (Heavin) Keeton. She died May 13, 2013, in Muskogee.

Graveside services for Betty Jo James, 84.will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in Elk City and Wednesday and Thursday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs.
Betty was born in Cox City, on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1928 and passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Elk City.

Freida Perkins
Funeral services for Freida Perkins, 95, of Chickasha, will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Freida Perkins was born March 19, 1918, at Kalamazoo, Michigan. She passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Mrs. Perkins married Daniel Perkins on November 14, 1940. She and Daniel lived in New Mexico from 1940 to 1980, when they moved to the Amber area.
She had worked in the New Mexico public school system and after moving to Amber she worked at the Amber Café for seven years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Perkins in 1986 and a son, Danny Perkins in 2010.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by a sister, Esther Healey, of PawPaw, Michigan; four grandchildren: Penny Fuller, George Perkins, Wayne Perkins and T.J. Perkins; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; Daughter-in-law: Wynema Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Carla and Eddie.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. -
