Wanda Lou Breedlove

— Wanda Lou Breedlove



Wanda Lou Breedlove of Maysville passed away on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 in Lexington, at the age of 77 years. She was born on Jan. 18, 1936 in Olney to Lewis Keel, Jr. and Zola Elizabeth (Chambers) Keel.

Wanda was a graduate of Olney High School. On Jan. 4, 1957 she married Paul Breedlove at Meeks Chapel in Moore. They lived in Moore for 40 years before moving to Maysville in 2008. Wanda loved spending time with her family. She was an excellent seamstress and the "Best Cook in the World". Wanda enjoyed reading, especially newspapers. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Chickasaw Nation. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Her survivors include her husband of 56 years, Paul of the home; Daughters: Rita Kay Breedlove of Norman; Paula Knowles and husband Jim of Oklahoma City; Janet Jones of Maysville.; Step-daughter, Karen Caylor of Joplin, Missouri.

Brothers: Stanley Keel of Arden, North Carolina; Douglas Keel of Katy, Texas; David Keel of Mustang; Dale Keel of Mustang; and Larrel Keel of Chickasha.; Sisters: Marlene Hutchison of Ninnekah; Margaret Willard of Chickasha; Charlene Brown of Bradley.

six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.; five step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Glenda Spaulding; brother, James Keel; and sister, Carolyn Norman.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Feb. 4, 2013 at the First Assembly of God Church in Maysville with Rev. Dewayne Klepper officiating. Burial will be in the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com

  • Patsy McDonald Rhymes

    Patsy McDonald Rhymes, 62, of Chickasha, beloved wife of Danny Rhymes, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.  She will be greatly missed by a large and loving extended family and many friends.  Patsy was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her time caring for her family. 
    She is survived by her husband Danny, her son Starling and his wife Connie, and grandchildren Rochelle and Michael.  Patsy was especially close to her niece Pam and also leaves behind her brothers Charles, Paige, and Roland along with her sisters Thelma and Jeana. 
    Graveside services were held in Hominy,  on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by her longtime family minister, Rev. Leonard Lindsay.  Arrangements are being handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.

    Private graveside services were held for Noyka Hadley, 67, of Chickasha, on Wednesday May 15, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
    Noyka was born on February 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She died May 11, 2013, in Chickasha.
    Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

  • Lois Morris

    Funeral service for Lois Morris, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha.  Lois was born June 13, 1923, the daughter of Elva L. and Eva Opal (Heavin) Keeton.  She died May 13, 2013, in Muskogee.

    Graveside services for Betty Jo James, 84.will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in Elk City and Wednesday and Thursday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs.
    Betty was born in Cox City,  on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1928 and passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Elk City.

  • Freida Perkins

    Funeral services for Freida Perkins, 95, of Chickasha,  will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
    Freida Perkins was born March 19, 1918, at Kalamazoo, Michigan.  She passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
    Mrs. Perkins married Daniel Perkins on November 14, 1940.  She and Daniel lived in New Mexico from 1940 to 1980, when they moved to the Amber area.
    She had worked in the New Mexico public school system and after moving to Amber she worked at the Amber Café for seven years.
    She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Perkins in 1986 and a son, Danny Perkins in 2010.
    Mrs. Perkins is survived by a sister, Esther Healey, of PawPaw, Michigan; four grandchildren:  Penny Fuller, George Perkins, Wayne Perkins and T.J. Perkins; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; Daughter-in-law:  Wynema Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Carla and Eddie.
    Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
