Funeral service for Irene G. Jeter, age 84 of Cyril, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel.
Irene was born the daughter of Samuel Lee Cook and Ella Cook on Oct. 16, 1927 in Ninnekah. She died on Sept. 10, 2012 in Chickasha.
Irene moved to Amber at the age of two. She attended and graduated from Meridian Schools. She worked a few years then married John B. Carlson, Sr.. Irene worked many years at the First National Bank in Chickasha. She moved to Anadarko where she worked at Hollytex for many years. She married Lloyd Jeter in 1969. Irene retired and became a housewife. Later in life, she moved to Cyril and has lived there for the last nine years. Irene was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anadarko.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella and Samuel Lee Cook, brothers, Jay and Lloyd Cook, sister, Laura Garret, husband, John B. Carlson, Sr., husband, Lloyd Jeter, and son, Warren Carlson.
Survivors include son: John B. Carson, Jr. of Cyril; sister: Carolyn McBride of Edmond; sister and husband: Nadine and Don McDown of Midwest City; brother and wife: Sidney and Lois Cook of Chickasha; brother and wife: James and Jaunita Cook of Chickasha; grandson and wife: John & Angie Phillips of Chickasha; granddaughter and husband: Tina and Ted Johnson of Greensburg, Penn.; grandson and wife: Travis and LeeAnn Carlson of Cyril; grandson and wife: Ty and Jennifer Carlson of Cyril; granddaughter: Teri Williams of Edmond; 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home, Chickasha.

Patsy McDonald Rhymes
Patsy McDonald Rhymes, 62, of Chickasha, beloved wife of Danny Rhymes, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She will be greatly missed by a large and loving extended family and many friends. Patsy was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her time caring for her family.
She is survived by her husband Danny, her son Starling and his wife Connie, and grandchildren Rochelle and Michael. Patsy was especially close to her niece Pam and also leaves behind her brothers Charles, Paige, and Roland along with her sisters Thelma and Jeana.
Graveside services were held in Hominy, on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 2 p.m. and will be officiated by her longtime family minister, Rev. Leonard Lindsay. Arrangements are being handled by Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma. -
Nyoka “Jo” Hadley
Private graveside services were held for Noyka Hadley, 67, of Chickasha, on Wednesday May 15, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
Noyka was born on February 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas. She died May 11, 2013, in Chickasha.
Services were under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Lois Morris
Funeral service for Lois Morris, 89, of Chickasha, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Chickasha. Lois was born June 13, 1923, the daughter of Elva L. and Eva Opal (Heavin) Keeton. She died May 13, 2013, in Muskogee.

Graveside services for Betty Jo James, 84.will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013 in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs. Visitation will be held Monday and Tuesday at the Martin Funeral Home in Elk City and Wednesday and Thursday at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Chapel in Rush Springs.
Betty was born in Cox City, on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1928 and passed from this life on Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Elk City.

Freida Perkins
Funeral services for Freida Perkins, 95, of Chickasha, will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Freida Perkins was born March 19, 1918, at Kalamazoo, Michigan. She passed away at her home on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Mrs. Perkins married Daniel Perkins on November 14, 1940. She and Daniel lived in New Mexico from 1940 to 1980, when they moved to the Amber area.
She had worked in the New Mexico public school system and after moving to Amber she worked at the Amber Café for seven years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Perkins in 1986 and a son, Danny Perkins in 2010.
Mrs. Perkins is survived by a sister, Esther Healey, of PawPaw, Michigan; four grandchildren: Penny Fuller, George Perkins, Wayne Perkins and T.J. Perkins; 11 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; Daughter-in-law: Wynema Perkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews including Carla and Eddie.
Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. -
