Patsy Ruth Bauman

Funeral services will be held for Patsy Ruth Bauman, 86, of Chickasha at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ with Ron Blankenship and Will Tate officiating.
Patsy Ruth Bauman was born in Commerce, Texas, on Sept. 5, 1926, to Sidney Arthur Cox & Hattie McCasland Cox. She died on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, in Chickasha.
When Pat was a small child her family moved to Oklahoma where she was raised on a farm east of Anadarko. She attended grade school in the one-room Roach School.
Pat met James Irven Bauman in high school and they were married in Anadarko on June 30, 1946.
Pat loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and made a hobby out of spoiling them.
She was a longtime member of the Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha.
She was preceded in death by: both parents; her husband, James; one sister, Sybil Louise Winn; and two brothers, Irwin Coolidge Cox and Durwood Dustin Cox.
Survivors include: her children, Judy Carter and husband Wayne of Ninnekah, Phil Bauman and wife Vicki of Chickasha, and Robyn English and husband Perry of Lindsay; granddaughters, Tricia Guerrero, Traci Carter, and Abby Bauman, all of Chickasha; grandsons, Nathan Bauman and wife Nicole of Alex, Raun English and wife Jessica of Oklahoma City, Keenan English and wife Shannon of New Jersey; and great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kaci, Lexi, Leah and Kade.
Interment will be in the Memory Lane Cemetery in Anadarko under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
