Even after her children left for college, she never missed a USC parents weekend and was an active member of the Theta Moms Club at USC. She was constantly challenging herself and taking on new endeavors. She was the first female president of the OU Geology Alumni Association. She was a board member at the OU Breast Institute and involved in the American Heart Association Heart Ball, and a supporting member of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art.
Jeanne loved her bridge club, book club, golfing at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, and taking long walks with her friends and pets. She treasured family time and planned many memorable excursions to such places as Yellowstone National Park, Hawaii, Colorado ski trips, and the Caribbean.
Holiday gatherings were a special time for Jeanne and her family. Jeanne’s family not only included immediate relatives, but extended families and life-long friends. No matter where Jeanne was her personality made all feel welcome and at home.
She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family without reservation and gave of herself without hesitation. She will be most remembered for her strength, incredible grace, and beautiful smile. She will be deeply missed.
