Ruth Haywood

— Ruth Haywood, 97 of Tuttle, OK went home to be with her Lord, Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Tuttle Care Center.   Ruth was born on June 19, 1915 in Faxon, Oklahoma.  She was the 6th child of nine children born to Thomas Long and Catherine (Gordon) Long.   Ruth grew up near Faxon, Oklahoma where she attended school.   She later moved to the OKC area where she met her husband, Claude O. They served a delicious Cole Slaw which she mastered and served at her own table.  She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother.   She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much and looked forward to their visits.
