Georgia Margaret Ryans

— Memorial service for Georgia Margaret Ryans are set for Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at the Full Gospel Church, located ay 722 N. 10 in Chickasha, with Sister Alice Wendling officiating.

Georgia Margaret Ryans was born Feb. 24, 1927, the daughter of U. T. McGuire and N.A. (Canterberry) McGuire, in Gotebo. Margaret married the love of her life, Herman on April 11, 1946. They were married 65 years and nine months. Margaret left to be with her savior on Jan. 22, 2012.

She was a homemaker most of her life. For several years, she owned and operated Fort Cobb Variety Store where friends gathered and crocheted many afghans.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herman; three brothers, Ross, W.G., and Walter; four sisters, Helen, Lona, Vernell and Elenora;  son-in-law Ricky Rutledge and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Machelle.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Hervey of Union City and Regina Rutledge and her fiance Darin Skinner of Fort Cobb; grandson Dennis Ryans of Union City; five great-grandchildren; many loving in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
