  • Cecil L. Clouse

    Cecil L. Clouse was born June 15, 1935 in Paden, the son of Marion Clouse and Lillie Garrett. died April 19, 2013 in Chickasha.
    He married Leta Johnson on Dec. 13, 1978 in Chickasha. He enjoyed his time with his wife and children, Debra and her husband Clint Burnett of Chickasha and Allen Richardson of Oklahoma City and his sister, Mary Garrett of Marlow.
    The family had a private memorial service for Cecil. He donated his body to science.

    Funeral service for James Elbert Ellis, 85, of Verden, Oklahoma will be held at 8:00 a.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
    James Elbert Ellis was born April 15, 1928 and died April 20, 2013.
    Interment will be in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

    Ann was born to Elda and Bill (W.M.) Burmeister on February 5, 1929 in Amber.

    Funeral service for Alpha Howard Montgomery, age 88, of Chickasha will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013 in the Ninnekah First Baptist Church. Rev. Bob Gordon will officiate and Rev. Mike Reynolds will assist.
    Alpha Howard Montgomery was born the daughter of Henry Elisha Swindell and Adeline Bilbrey Swindell on Dec. 25, 1924, in Colgate. She died on April 23, 2013, in Oklahoma City
    Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.

  • Jessie Mae Donaldson

    Funeral services for Jessie Mae Donaldson, 83, will be held on Friday April 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, Lawton.  Wake service will be held on Thursday April 25, from 6-7 p.m. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.  Pastor Michael Logan will be the Minister Officiating the Service and also delivering the Eulogy.  
    Mrs. Donaldson was in born in Champagne, Ill. on June 15, 1929, she passed away in Oklahoma City, on April 17, 2013.
    Interment will held at Fort Sill National Cemetery
    Services under the direction of Browns Funeral Home, Ricky A. Brown, Funeral Director/Embalmer

  • Jerry Lee Hair

    Funeral service for Jerry Lee Hair, age 82 of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Southern Oaks Church of Christ.
    Jerry Lee was born the son of James Arthur Hair and Alice Brashears Hair on Jan. 3, 1931 in Tishomingo. He died on April 23, 2013 in Chickasha.
    Jerry grew up around Rush Springs where he met his wife, Anna Belle Carter. They were married on Aug. 8, 1948 in Ft. Worth, Texas. After their marriage they lived in Rush Springs for a year then moved to California. Twelve years later they moved back to Chickasha where he owned and operated Carter & Hair Propane until 1981 when he retired. In 1984, he moved to Hollis,  where he worked at the West View Boys Home for 12 years then returned to Chickasha. Jerry was a member of the Church of Christ and was baptized in 1946 when he was 15 years old.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Alice Hair; seven brothers, Jack, Carl, Raymond, Earl, Robert (Bob), Fred (Blackie), and Floyd (Pod) Hair; one sister, Juanita; infant daughters, Sheila & Darlene Hair.
    Survivors include his wife, Anna Belle Hair of Chickasha; son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kay Hair of Norman; son, Kevin Hair of Chickasha; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Kenneth Mantooth of Boys Ranch, Texas; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Tommie and Marion Owen of Lancaster,Calif.; sister and brother-in-law, June and Richard Welch of Chickasha; daughters-in-law, Kelly Hair of Chickasha and Faye Moretz of Edmond.
    Interment will be in the Westview Cemetery in Rush Springs. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.

  • Linda Dale Organ

    Linda Dale Organ, 65, of Chickasha OK, passed away on April 22, 2013.
    She was born in St. Louis, MO on June 10, 1947 and spent her life moving between Missouri, Ohio and Oklahoma. Linda completed a BA in English with a minor in Art at USAO in 2009. She was married to James Howard Organ of East Prairie, MO in 1968.
    Linda was a very loving, intelligent, caring, beautiful woman. She was a friend to all who knew her.
    She is survived by her husband James Organ, Chickasha; children Paul Organ, Chickasha, Dawn Martinez, South Korea, Jamie Organ, Chickasha; grandchildren Alicia Martinez, Chickasha, Joaquin Martinez, El Paso, Belinda (Martinez) Turpin, Chickasha, Tyler Organ, Chickasha, Staci Organ, Meeker, James Organ, Oklahoma City; and great grandchildren Adrian Martinez-Hernandez, Chickasha, and Austin Organ, Ada.
    There will be no ceremony. All flowers, cards, and anything else can be sent to James at 1315 S. 13th St., Chickasha, OK 73018.

    Graveside service for Mildred Fisher, 107, of Chickasha will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Brumfield Cemetery in Seiling.
    Fisher was a teacher. She died April 19, 2013 in Chickasha.
    Arrangements under the direction of Shaw Funeral Home of Taloga.
