JETTA DOYLE

Funeral for Jetta Doyle, age 89, of Chickasha, will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 6, 2008, at the Epworth United Methodist Church. Jetta’s nephew, Kenley Milburn, will officiate.

Jetta Doyle was born the daughter of Rev. Marion Milburn and Emma Clark Milburn on May 25, 1918 in Harrisburg, Oklahoma. She died on February 3, 2008 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Jetta married Smith “Smitty” Doyle on July 8, 1937 in Duncan, Oklahoma. In 1950, they moved to Chickasha where Jetta worked as the secretary for her husbands upholstery business and sold Merle Norman Cosmetics. She later opened a custom drapery business. Jetta was active in the community as a member of the PTA, Rebecca Lodge, Grady Memorial Hospital Auxilliary, and the Floribunda Club. She was also a very active member of the Epworth United Methodist Church where she was involved with the UMW and actively volunteered in the work of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Smitty Doyle; parents, Rev. Marion and Emma Milburn; brothers, Roy Milburn, Bill Milburn, Charlie Milburn, Mansel Milburn and Clarence Milburn; and one sister, Zella Milburn.

Son & wife: James & Mary Nell Doyle of Krum, TX; Daughter & husband: Cora & Don Lister of Marlow; Grandsons: Chris Doyle of Denton, TX; Craig Doyle & wife, Brandie of Scottsdale, AZ; Doug Lister of Dallas, TX; Zack Lister & wife, Christy of Longview, TX; Granddaughter: Ginger Billman & husband, Clay of Stillwater, OK; Great-Grandchildren: Dandie, Harrison, & Mary Doyle of Denton, TX; Luke Jett & Levi Lister of Longview, TX; Abbey & Allie Billman of Stillwater; Sister: Johnnie Booth of Lawton; Sister: Rosetta Penrod of Houston, TX; Brother: Marion Milburn, Jr & wife, Linda of Tecumseh; Sisters-in-law: Mildred, Kathryn, and Doris Milburn; Many nieces & nephews.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under direction of McRay Funeral Home.
