JAMES “JIM” CHAPMAN


Funeral Services for Charles James "Jim" Chapman, 73, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 11:00-a.m., Friday, February 15,2008 in the Tuttle United Methodist Church, Tuttle, Oklahoma.

Jim was born February 1,1935 in Binger, Oklahoma, the son of George Alien and Ona Odessa (Jackson) Chapman and died February 13 2008 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Jim attended schools at Binger, Tuttle and graduated from Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma City in 1953, and Married Wanda Jo Wright of Tribby in October 1953 at the Exchange Ave. Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. They resided in Oklahoma City until 1970, then moved to Tuttle where he was a self-employed as a TV Repairman then employed at Sears as a Electronic Tech and retired Chickasha, Oklahoma in 1997. He was a Member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is preceded in death by; both parents.

Surviving Family include:

Wife, Wanda J. Chapman of the home: two Daughters: Debra A Davison of Tuttle, Oklahoma: Carol R. Williams of Chickasha, Oklahoma: one Son: Charles A. Chapman of Norman, Oklahoma; one Sister Sally Tarr of Midwest City, Oklahoma; seven grandhildren; John Davison of Purcell, Oklahoma; Melissa Long of Tuttle, Oklahoma; Nathan Chapman of Noble, Oklahoma; Tyier Chapman of Norman, Oklahoma; Whitney Chapman of Norman, Oklahoma; Denee’ Lankister of Chickasha, Oklahoma; Gunner Lankister of Chickasha, Oklahoma; seven Great-grandchildren; August Chapman, Elanore Davison, Mollie Long, Cody Chapman, Jake Long, Chloe Davison and Aubreigh Chapman.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Tuttle, Oklahoma under the Direction of the Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, Oklahoma
