— The opening-day games of the Chickasha Festival baseball tournament have been canceled due to weather.
If there is no rain Thursday night, games will resume Friday, March 23

The competition at the festival will be strong, with teams like No. 2 Deer Creek, No. 3 Carl Albert and No. 6 Guthrie coming to town.
Duncan is the No. 8 team in 5A, Chickasha is ninth. Tahlequah is the eleventh-ranked team.
Lawton MacArthur is No. 18, and Skiatook is ranked No. 19.

Guthrie v. Duncan, 3:30 p.m.

Things won't get any easier for the Fightin' Chicks after Spring Break, either.
On Monday, Chickasha plays the first of a two-game series with the Carl Albert Titans.
The first game is 4:30 p.m. Monday at Carl Albert High School, and the second is in Chickasha at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27.
