Football districts for the 2010 and 2011 seasons are now in place, affecting a number of area schools.
Coaches formed recommendations for the new district alignments during their meetings at the Oklahoma Coaches Association clinics during All-State week and OSSAA approved them at their meeting on Tuesday.
Chickasha moves to District 5A-2, joining Altus, Ardmore, Capitol Hill, Duncan, Durant, Lawton MacArthur and Northwest Classen.
District 3A-1 will be made up of Anadarko, Blanchard, Bridge Creek, Marlow, Riverside, Tuttle and Weatherford, while District 3 will be comprised of Bethany, Heritage Hall, John Marshall, Seeworth Academy, Kingfisher, Newcastle and OK Centennial.
Lindsay and Washington will be in 2A-3 with Comanche, Cordell, Frederick, Hobart, Mount St. Mary and Walters.
Minco will be in A-3 with Cashion, Crescent, Hinton, Okeene, Pioneer and Wellston while Dibble and Rush Springs will be in A-5 with Elmore City-Pernell, Maysville, Stratford, Wayne and Wynnewood.
Alex remains in B-2 with Bowlegs, Davenport, Central, Cyril, Fox, Macomb, Oklahoma Christian Academy, Paoli and Sasakwa.
Cement will be in C-2 with Corn Bible, Duke, Grandfield, Mt.View-Gotebo, Ryan, Temple, Thackerville and Tipton.
