Junior high wrestling wins two duals

CHICKASHA — The Chickasha Junior High wrestling team won two duals Thursday, beating Lawton and Elgin.

The Fightin' Chicks beat Lawton 57-9 and Elgin 36-27.

Against Lawton, Montana Moon and Devon Stephens won by pin in the first period.

Trevor Thomas lost 6-3. Triston Hopgood won 5-2. D.J. Warner won by pin in the third period.

Lamar Neff got a technical fall. Dakota Resendez pinned his opponent in the second period.

Kyle McNatt won 7-1. Dominic Neff won 14-0. Damien Barron won by pin.

Dao Xian Lim won 9-4. Jace Howard won by forfeit. Kobe Powell won by a pin. Anthony Outhaithavy lost a close match in the final seconds.

Results against Elgin: Montana Moon won by pin in the second period. Trevor Thomas lost 7-2. Triston Hopgood won by pin.

D.J. Warner and Lamar Neff won by pin, Dakota Resendez won by pin in the second period.

Dominic Neff lost 4-2. Brandon Burress lost by pin. Damien Barren lost 6-1. Dao Xian Lim won 2-0.

Jace Howard won by pin. Kobe Powell won by forfeit, and Anthony Outhaithavy won by pin.

The junior high team will compete again Nov. 17 at the Anadarko Open.
