OKLAHOMA CITY — The Chickasha High School boys and girls tennis teams competed in the Suburban Conference tournament Tuesday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.
The Lady Chicks place sixth as a team.
Hailey Angel placed fourth in the 1 Singles bracket, and Shelby Crosby was fourth in 2 Singles.
Melody Outhaithavy and Taylor Warren finished eighth in the 1 Doubles bracket and Lupita Maldonado and Keiley Wilson finished sixth in 2 Doubles.
The Fightin' Chicks boys team placed seventh as a team. Nate Hatfield posted the best finish of any Chickasha player, placing 3rd in 2 Singles. Zach Briscoe finished sixth in 1 Singles.
The 1 Doubles team of Noel Avila and Chris Davis place sixth, while Tanner Charlson and Colby King finished 9th in 2 Doubles.
The Chickasha Tennis Tournament is scheduled to take place with the girls competing on Friday, and the boys on Saturday.
