Four Drover men named all-conference

CHICKASHA — Four Drovers were recognized with All-Conference honors, the Sooner Athletic Conference announced Monday.

Senior Graham Faulkner received the Co-Sportsmanship Award and Academic All-SAC, while Norris Rumph was named All-Conference First Team.

Brandon Cutler was named All-Conference Third Team and Academic All-SAC, and Shavon Scott was named Academic All-SAC.

Graham Faulkner

In his four years at USAO, Faulkner has epitomized sportsmanship, so it’s no surprise he was honored his senior year by the SAC.

Faulkner, a physical education senior from Mustang, has scored 79 points this season and 457 in his career at USAO. He’s played in 101 games for the Drovers.

Faulkner is the son of Brad and Michelle and Sherrie Faulkner.

Norris Rumph

Rumph leads the Drovers in total points this season, scoring 373 points for an average of 16.22 points a game.

Shooting 45 percent from beyond the arc, Rumph is eighth in the NAIA in three-point percentage. From the field, he sinks nearly 45 percent of his shots as well.

He also leads the team in assists with 74 and is second in steals with 27. Rumph has collected 77 rebounds for the season.

Rumph joined the Drovers in 2011 from North Dakota State College of Science. In two years, he’s scored 671 points for the Drovers — nearly half of those from three pointers.

He is a physical education senior from Savannah, Ga., and the son of Josette Jenkins.

Brandon Cutler

As a two year starter for the Drovers, Cutler earned All-Conference honors both athletically and academically.

Cutler is second on the 2012-13 Drover team in points and rebounds for the season. He averages 13.6 points per game and has grabbed 135 rebounds for the season.

Furthermore, he leads the team in minutes with 702 and in field goal percentage, sinking more than 50 percent of his shots.

For his career at USAO, he has scored 520 points and collected 227 rebounds. He joined the Drovers in 2011 from NCAA Division I Stephen F. Austin State.

Cutler is a business management senior from Lawton. He is the son of John and Jia Cutler.

Shavon Scott

Scott is a physical education junior from Milwaukee, Wis., and is the son of Christy Scott.
