CHICKASHA —
The Chickasha High School freshman boys basketball team beat the Anadarko Warriors at home Monday night.
The Fightin' Chicks won the game 46-41, and were forced to make late free throws to prevent Anadarko from completing its comeback in the fourth quarter.
Chickasha jumped out to a big early lead, scoring the first nine points and leading by double-digits most of the game.
Anadarko made a late charge in the fourth quarter, and in the last minute, the Warriors had pulled to within three points at 44-41 after a Chickasha turnover led to a fast break layup for Anadarko.
The Warriors couldn't come back and score anymore points, and Chickasha made just enough free throws to survive.
