OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The Oklahoma Sooners did not rise in the latest Associated Press college football poll — but did pick up some first place votes.
OU remains sixth in the voting after a bye week while receiving two first-place votes this week. Former No. 1 Alabama drops to eighth after losing to South Carolina and Ohio State takes over as No. 1.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys move up from 22nd to 20th after beating Louisiana-Lafayette.
