CHICKASHA —
A strong offensive game for the No. 23 Drovers led them to a 10-point victory over conference foe Lubbock Christian in a Saturday afternoon meeting.
The game went back-and-forth for the first few minutes before the Drovers (10-4, 3-3) were able to pull out to a commanding lead, entering halftime up 41-24.
USAO led the entire second half — at one point by as much as 26 — before ultimately winning their third conference game and 10th overall.
The Drovers will play No. 5 Oklahoma Baptist at home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Arvest Bank is sponsoring that game.
The Drover women battled hard and never gave up, but just couldn’t overcome the powerful No. 2 Lubbock Christian team.
