CHICKASHA —
Kim Powell from Chickasha and Independent Advanced Sales Director with The Pampered Chef – the largest direct seller of everything you need to cook and entertain at home – received the Excellence Award for Personal Sales at the Company’s Leadership Conference in September. Kim was also recognized for reaching a new milestone in career sales of $1.3 million dollars. For her achievement she received a monetary bonus and a beautiful platinum bracelet with a 5 carat Blue Topaz stone surrounded by 24 brilliant diamonds.
“I am honored to be recognized for my success with The Pampered Chef,” Powell said. “During these economic times, it is amazing to be a part of a company that offers a flexible earning opportunity and real solutions, like low cost, high value recipes and products that help families cook at home.”
Kim was honored in front of thousands of peers during the company’s annual conference. Conference attendees receive training, motivation and support to maximize their independent business. Kim has been with The Pampered Chef for almost 20 years and has been in the top two percent of sales achievers all 20 of those years.
Kim also recently returned from a Mediterranean Cruise that she earned through her sales efforts in 2011 for herself and her husband, Joe. Ports of call across Europe included Barcelona, Toulon, Villefranche, Livorno/Florence, Rome and Naples. Cities the Powell’s visited while in port included Barcelona, Sorrento, Florence, Pisa, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Nice, Rome, St. Tropez, Cannes, Naples and Capri. Kim is working on sales in 2012 to earn a trip to Dublin, Ireland in 2013. Powell says, “One of my favorite things about my business is earning a trip each year for me and my family! Growing up on a dairy farm I never got to vacation as a child and didn’t know what fun it was to see other parts of the country and the world.”
“The Pampered Chef opportunity helps people like Kim fulfill their personal and professional goals,” said Jean Jonas, Senior Vice President of Sales for The Pampered Chef. “Consultant success is our top priority, and we applaud Kim for these wonderful accomplishments.”
