Bob and Shelly Gorrell of Chickasha are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Christina Gorrell to Christopher Thompson, the son of Barry Thompson of Chickasha, Marita Whaley of Marlow. The couple have chosen June 11, 2010 as their wedding date and they will be married in a private ceremony at the Elks Lodge in Chickasha.
Christina is a graduate of Chickasha High School in 2002 and has continued her education at Canadian Valley Technology Center in Chickasha in the graphic design and imaging. She is the granddaughter of Verna Ardella and Fred Westmoreland, Leonard Gorrell, Alice and Harvey Johnson.
Chris is a 2004 graduate of Chickasha High School and has also attended Canadian Valley Technology Center where he continued his education in auto mechanics. He is the grandson of Melvin and Fay Whaley, Alma Whaley, Margarette Lucille and Jay Roy Pursley.education in Auto Mechanics.
The couple will honeymoon in Quantana Roo, Mexico in September. Couple will reside in Chickasha.
