The Chickasha High School basketball teams were put into the east side of the bracket this season, making for some long trips for the regional playoffs.
The Lady Chicks will begin the playoffs at Tahlequah High School against Guthrie. Tahlequah is more than three hours away from Chickasha.
The first round game is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.
If the girls win, they will play the winner between Tahlequah and Coweta at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 in Tahlequah.
The Chickasha boys will play against Tahlequah at Coweta High School, just under three hours away.
The Fightin' Chicks will play at 8 p.m. Friday.
If the boys win, they will play the winner of the Coweta-Grove game at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 in Coweta.
In 4A, Bridge Creek will play its Area 1, 4A-4 district playoff game at John Marshall High School.
The girls are scheduled to play John Marshall at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, and the boys will play at 8 p.m. that night.
Both teams will advance to regionals, win or lose, and will play those games at John Marshall the following week.
Blanchard and Tuttle will play in Area 2.
Blanchard girls will play in district 6 at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 16 at Lone Grove, with the boys following at 8.
Tuttle will host Elgin at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Feb. 15 in district 4A-7.
In class 2A area 2, Minco will play districts at Fairview against Oklahoma Bible with the girls at 6:30 p.m. and the boys at 8 p.m. Feb. 16.
If either team wins, it will face Fairview Feb. 16.
Ninnekah will play Navajo at Snyder at 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Rush Springs will play Dibble at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Feb. 15.
Amber-Pocasset has a first-round bye in districts, and will host the winner between Boone-Apache and Hydro-Eakly at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Feb. 16.
