CHICKASHA —
One of the best weekends for food is coming up ladies and gentleman! My family always creates some kind of feast of delicious meats, veggies, finger food and of course, desserts.
Today I am providing you dedicated Express-Star blog readers a fun recipe I made last year and hopefully will recreate this year.
You only need a few items, and don't worry you don't have to be an amazing chef or artist to accomplish these adorable football brownies.
You will need:
--1 box of brownie mix (and all the ingredients that go along with it, such as vegetable oil, water, eggs, etc.)
--1 football shaped cookie cutter. I found mine at Michaels and I used a coupon to make it 50 percent off. Even better!
--A small tube of white icing.
All you have to do is bake the brownies, let them cool and the cut little football shapes out. Then draw little half circles in the corners and finish off the design with little middle markings in the center.
Admittedly my little football brownies don't look perfect but believe you me - these were delicious and definitely a hit at our Super Bowl party.
