— The USAO men's and women's soccer team played their last regular season games against Wayland Baptist on Saturday afternoon in Texas.
The Lady Drovers disappointed the Pioneers with a 4-1 win, advancing their season record to 10-6-1 overall, 5-2-1 in conference. Freshman forward Linda Addo scored another hat trick for the Drovers. Addo has 13 goals this season and three assists.
Senior Erin Coggan scored just before halftime off an assist from Calli Cooper. Freshman Ryah Vyse had a close range shot in the 50th minute, giving the Drovers a three-goal lead.
The USAO men battled the Pioneers before ending the game with a 1-1 double-overtime tie.
The Drovers outshot the Pioneers by seven shots, but Kalokwera Okot was the only Drover who could manage to get past the Pioneers' keeper.
This season the Drover men made history by being undefeated in conference. The Drovers' record is at 12-0-3 going into the conference tournament.
Both Drover teams will host the first round of the conference tournament. The women will play at 2 p.m. Friday and the men will play at noon Saturday.
