Chickasha High School head football coach Tom Cobble is one of 10 coaches that will be inducted into the Oklahoma Coaches Association Hall of Fame this year.
Cobble has had a long coaching career, more than 30 years, in Oklahoma high school football. He has previously coached at El Reno, Enid, Weatherford and Minco.
He has one state championship, three runner-up finishes, and six state semifinals appearances. Cobble has won more than 230 games in his career.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. July 28 at the Southern Hills Marriott hotel in Tulsa.
Also getting inducted into the class of 2013 are former Blanchard coaches Charley North and T.J. "Sonny" Vermillion.

Now on the desk of Animal Shelter Supervisor James Kasper, seven kittens saved from a dumpster on Wednesday are making progress toward a time when they can be adopted.
After being plucked from a dumpster on the north side of town, seven kittens now sit in a green carrier in the Chickasha Animal Shelter with a new found sense of hope.
