On Saturday, Oct. 13th, the Am-Po 4-H club had their second meeting at the Ratcliff residence. At the meeting, demonstrations were given by Keely Ratcliff and Kaden Kennedy. Keely gave a delicious presentation over bread making, while Kaden educated the group about gun safety. A group picture was taken at the meeting, at right.
They also discussed their latest community service project. They will be collecting nonperishable food and cash donations for the Regional Food Bank’s Students Against Hunger Food and Fund Drive. These donations will be accepted at the Am-Po High School in each class sponsor’s rooms. Whichever class raises the most will receive a Coke and pizza party. Their next meeting is planned for Saturday, Nov. 3rd at 6 p.m. at the Kennedy’s house.
Demonstrations will be given by Cody Walls and Ashtin Green.
Our local officers will have training November 3rd immediately following Share the Fun at Minco.
