CHICKASHA —
The Chickasha High School cross country team competed in its first meet of the season at Putnam City North on Tuesday.
Devin Warden finished seventh (21:00) and Junior Avila was 22nd (22:32), both times good for medals.
Hannah Elrod was 14th (16:15), Kelsey Taylor was 23rd (17:07) and Monica Barrera was 30th (17:49) and those three medaled as well.
Laken Sanches was 45th (25:13). Ben Fuller was 49th (27:27) and Nathan Stewart was 47th (24:41). Melanie Sales was 41st (20:10).
The Chicks' next meet is scheduled for Sept. 22 at Oklahoma Baptist
University.
