CHICKASHA —
A fire that started across the street from the Chickasha Public Works Building was quickly put out Monday, around 6:30 p.m.
Fire fighters on the scene said the blaze started in what appeared to be the home of one or more transients. No one was injured and one was found in the vicinity of the fire.
As of deadline yesterday the cause of the flames had yet to be determined.
